As an experienced knitter and knitting teacher, I am always interested in books that I can recommend to relatively less-experienced knitters. This has some nice basic patterns for a large range of sizes and yarn weights, as well as some less common silhouettes. The yarns used for the samples are well-chosen for showing the stitches.However, there are some improvements that could be made: 1) While there are schematics for the basic patterns, there are none for the design variations.
